Payment & Refunds

Effective Date: 01 September 2026

Payment and Appointment Confirmation

When an appointment request is received, Lumiora Psychological Centre may contact the client using the contact information provided in the appointment request.

The applicable service fee and payment instructions will be communicated to the client before the appointment is confirmed.

An appointment will be considered confirmed only after the applicable payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been provided by Lumiora.

Payment instructions will be provided directly by Lumiora through an appropriate communication channel.

Fees

The applicable fee for a service will be communicated to the client before confirmation of the appointment.

Fees may vary depending on the type, duration, professional, or nature of the service.

Lumiora reserves the right to revise its service fees. Any revised fee will apply according to the information communicated to the client at the time of booking.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment, the client should contact Lumiora as early as reasonably possible.

Where a cancellation or rescheduling request is made sufficiently in advance, Lumiora may, at its discretion and subject to availability, offer an alternative appointment.

Rescheduling is subject to the availability of the relevant professional and does not guarantee a particular date or time.

No-Show Policy

Once an appointment has been confirmed, Lumiora reserves dedicated professional time for that client.

If a client fails to attend a confirmed appointment without providing reasonable prior notice, the appointment may be treated as a No-Show.

Because the appointment time has been reserved specifically for the client and may prevent the Centre from allocating that time to another client, the fee paid for a confirmed appointment may be non-refundable in the event of a No-Show.

Late Arrival

Clients are expected to attend their confirmed sessions on time.

For online sessions, joining late may reduce the available counselling time because the session may still need to conclude at the originally scheduled time.

Repeated or significant lateness may affect the ability to provide the full service.

Refund Policy

Payments made for a confirmed appointment are generally non-refundable where the client fails to attend the appointment or cancels without reasonable prior notice.

Where a refund is considered appropriate, the decision will depend on the circumstances and the applicable policy of Lumiora.

If an appointment cannot be provided due to circumstances attributable to Lumiora, the Centre may offer an alternative appointment or, where appropriate, consider a refund.

Any refund, where approved, will be processed through an appropriate payment method and within a reasonable administrative period.

Payment Verification

Clients may be required to provide reasonable payment confirmation or transaction details where necessary to verify a payment.

Clients should not send passwords, PINs, OTPs, card security codes, or other confidential banking credentials to Lumiora.

Changes to Payment Procedures

Lumiora may change its payment methods or payment procedures when necessary. Updated instructions will be communicated through official Lumiora communication channels.
