Introduction

Welcome to Lumiora Psychological Centre. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the services provided by Lumiora Psychological Centre, including psychological counselling, emotional well-being support, online counselling, consultations, workshops, and other services offered by the Centre.

By accessing our website, submitting an appointment request, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with the terms applicable to the service you use.

Lumiora Psychological Centre reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms & Conditions when necessary. Any updated version will be published on this website with the relevant effective or updated date.

Nature of Our Services

Lumiora Psychological Centre provides professional psychological counselling and related support services intended to promote emotional well-being, personal development, healthy coping, and psychological support.

The specific service provided will depend on the individual’s needs, the professional’s qualifications and scope of practice, and the nature of the appointment.

Services are provided with appropriate professional care, confidentiality, ethical consideration, and respect for each client’s individual circumstances.

Online Counselling Terms

Lumiora may provide counselling services through online communication platforms where appropriate.

Online counselling requires the client to have access to a suitable device, a stable internet connection, and a private environment where the session can be conducted without unnecessary interruption.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are in a reasonably private and safe location during an online session.

Online counselling may have limitations arising from internet connectivity, technical problems, privacy risks, environmental interruptions, or other circumstances beyond the Centre’s reasonable control.

Online counselling is not intended to replace emergency medical or psychiatric services when immediate intervention is required.

Appointments

Appointments are arranged through the appointment request process provided by Lumiora Psychological Centre.

Submitting an appointment request does not automatically mean that the appointment has been confirmed.

After receiving an appointment request, Lumiora may contact the client using the contact information provided to discuss the requested service, availability, applicable fee, and payment instructions.

An appointment will be considered confirmed only after the required payment has been received and the Centre has provided confirmation of the appointment.

The confirmed date, time, and method of connection will be communicated to the client through an appropriate communication channel such as telephone, WhatsApp, or email.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide accurate information when requesting or receiving services.

Clients are responsible for attending appointments on time, providing accurate contact information, maintaining appropriate behaviour, respecting professional boundaries, and communicating any relevant circumstances that may affect the appointment.

Clients should not attend an online session while driving, operating machinery, or participating in an activity that could compromise their safety or the quality of the session.

Professional Boundaries

All counselling services are provided within appropriate professional boundaries.

Clients are expected to maintain respectful communication and behaviour toward counsellors and other representatives of Lumiora.

Counselling relationships are professional relationships and should not be interpreted as personal, romantic, financial, or social relationships.

Lumiora professionals may decline requests or interactions that are inappropriate, unsafe, unethical, or outside the scope of professional practice.

Confidentiality

Lumiora respects the confidentiality of information shared during counselling and related services.

However, confidentiality may have legal, ethical, safety-related, or professional limitations in certain circumstances, including situations involving an immediate and serious risk of harm, safeguarding concerns, or where disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.

Further information regarding the collection, use, storage, and protection of personal information is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Service Limitations

Counselling and psychological support services are not guaranteed to produce a particular outcome.

The effectiveness of counselling may vary depending on individual circumstances, participation, consistency, personal factors, and other relevant conditions.

Lumiora does not guarantee a specific psychological, emotional, behavioural, relationship, academic, career, or personal outcome.
